Fear
by James A. Garrison

A gnawing ache irritated by a persistent twitch,
Caught, locked, and drug into focus by a random switch,
Chilling and paralyzing to the bone,
Deep rooted in your heart has grown,
Breeding suspicion and hate it capitulates,
Into a dark hole where none are welcome but the most dismal of fates,
But hope is not lost for hope is, itself, the cure you see,
For trust and relinquishing of control will set you free,
For we have nothing to fear but fear itself you see,
And that this you comprehend is my dearest plea.
Number 2 of my emotion collection. Hope you like it's short but to the point. Unlike my previous poem this one is not as cheerful. Human emotion after all is not always happy emotions. But I hope you enjoy.

P. S. I also plagurized Winston Churchill a little bit so sorry if I broke any rules.
